Born in Armenia and started working at the age of 16, Mkhitar Serobyan has made a number of collaborations with various directors in different projects.
Graduated from Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinema, he parallelly participated in a number of master classes on filmography organized by D.O.P. Vahagn Ter-Hakobyan ACG, as well as Kinoket Production.
In May 2023 Mkhitar Serobyan will graduate from Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinema with Master’s Degree (thesis paper “Iranian Cinema: Asghar Farhadi”). In 2022 Mkhitar Serobyan got membership of Armenian Cinematographers’ Guild. In 2022 Mkhitar Serobyan founded Kelvin Film Lab (production).In 2023 Mkhitar Serobyan got membership of International Federation of Cinematographers (IMAGO)
Mkhitar Serobyan has mastered both in documentaries and features, starting from 2018 by the year of 2022 he has made 25 documentaries and 3 feature films. Besides filmmaking skills, Mkhitar Serobyan has also developed strong editing skills in several TV projects in local TV Channels.
He collaborated with such directors as Arman Yeritsyan (Resistance-2021), Razmik Grigoryan (Willpower /16 documentaries/ - 2019-2020, Path of Light-2019, It’s Me /2 documentaries/- 2019-2021, Voice of The Great-2021, Zulu Is In Touch-2022), Hrant Hakobyan (The Kamancha, The Plumpy Granny and Puppets-2021), Ashot Jazoyan (Project “Opening Russia”-2021), Tigran Metaks (The Hunt-2022), Alex Valkorn (The Sketch-2023), Gagik Madoyan (Delete-2023).
